Lead overseas sales for global building-material and hardware projects, owning customer development, key-account management, bid coordination and sales-target delivery.
Description
The Foreign Trade Supervisor owns overall overseas sales performance. You will formulate market-expansion strategies, manage key distributors and engineering clients, oversee full-cycle order execution and drive growth across Africa, Europe and Southeast Asia.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Formulate regional sales strategies and deliver annual overseas sales targets.
- Develop and maintain overseas engineering contractors, government-backed projects and local distributors.
- Lead bid-document preparation, business negotiation, quotation and contract review.
- Oversee quotation, contract signing, production follow-up, shipment and after-sales support.
- Coordinate with supply-chain and logistics teams to mitigate delivery, quality and payment risks.
- Track competitors and prepare market-analysis reports.
- Coach junior sales team members and improve sales SOPs.
- Report monthly sales status, risks and proposals to management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Business or a related discipline.
- At least four years of B2B foreign-trade experience.
- Excellent written and spoken English with independent negotiation ability.
- Solid understanding of trade terms, payment methods and export workflows.
- A track record of developing large overseas project clients.
- Strong cross-team coordination and risk-assessment capability.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Building-material, hardware or construction-product background.
- Familiarity with African or European construction-project markets.
- French or Spanish language competency.
- Experience managing a small sales team or participating in overseas exhibitions and project bidding.
